My client is looking to appoint a Client Manager to their team, reporting to the Partners you will work on a portfolio of clients taking management on this portfolio over time. They are looking for someone with previous demonstrable experience of working within practice and who can demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, time management and supervisory skills. You will be responsible for delivering a high standard of services to their clients. You will work closely with the other managers, staff and Partners and be able to work within budget, overseeing staff and managing processes from the start. You will work with a varied client base, working with clients from a variety of industries, able to support and liaise with client queries and associated matters.
The main responsibilities comprise of managing and developing a portfolio of clients (including budgeting and billing) and attending a small number of prospect meetings. In addition, the post holder will also be required to attend business shows, engage in other business development activities to attract new clients and liaising with other Department Managers to ensure that all client’ work is completed accurately, within budget and on time.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, including client meetings, coordinating work (including budgets) and ensuring quality meets required standards, time cost recovery and billing, client complaints and monitoring profitability. You will manage the team to deliver accountancy services to clients, lead end of year account review meetings with clients, agree fees for accounts and taxation work with clients and collection of fees.
They are looking for someone who can take a lead, bring with then new ideas and manage current clients, develop new business, and grow the firm, working with the Partners on their growth strategy. This is a broad role and there is scope for development, so if you are looking to progress within the firm there is the opportunity for you to move up and grow.
You will be ACCA/ACA qualified and will work with a portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses. They are looking for a self-starter, someone who can communicate with both internal and external stakeholders, manage your time and be able to work effectively.
