My client, a regional offering for a national firm, based in mid Kent is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Manager. They are looking for a Corporate Tax Accountant, ideally someone with more rounded experience in terms of accounting. The role would suit a Qualified Accountant with relevant experience or someone with a CTA qualification.
This is an exciting opportunity and the role will primarily be focussed on providing corporate tax services to the Firms Kent client base. This will be a varied role covering a wide portfolio of clients from owner managed businesses to AIM listed clients. Reporting to the Partners and managing a small team you will be responsible for a mixed portfolio of approximately 20-30 clients and will:
Providing tax audit assist support at the time of the audit
Preparing / reviewing current and deferred tax calculations
Reviewing and submitting corporate tax computations prepared by more junior members of staff
Advising clients on all aspects of corporate tax including tax payments, capital allowances, R&D claims
Dealing with HMRC matters on the client’s behalf
Providing on-going tax advice
Providing corporate tax support on discrete advisory projects and transactions
Assisting with client / business development
Coaching and developing more junior staff
This role sits within a Top 20 Firm and is looking for someone with drive and a professional approach. There are prospects for the right individual and you will be supported to develop internally and progress both professionally and personally.
The salary on offer depends on experience: £50,000 – £60,000 plus benefits
