Finance Manager/Bookkeeper (Ref: J10078) Permanent

My client and growing business in Gillingham are looking to replace a key member of staff. The business has continued to grow over the past 12 months despite the pandemic and they have no plans to slow down in 2021.
This role will provide support to the Head of Finance and a small finance function. In order to be considered for this role you must be on short notice and available to start almost immediately.
Key skills and experience:
·Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments
·Completing VAT returns
·Preparing invoices for the Inland Revenue
·Checking company bank statements
·Overseeing 1 junior member of staff (not essential)
·Month end duties
·Dealing with all petty cash
·Overseeing the outsourced payroll
·Accruals and Prepayments
·Preparing cash flow statements
·Dealing with financial paperwork
This is an exciting opportunity who has extensive experience of working in small family run organisation who is happy to work with finance systems and implementation of new systems. Excel will be a key part of the role and someone with previous experience will be required.
