Part-Time Bookkeeper (Ref: J10631) Permanent NEW

Goldhawk Associates and working to support a modern and dynamic accountancy firm, who are looking to appoint a Part-Time Bookkeeper to their team. The firm works with a varied client base and supplies a full range of accountancy and taxation services to small businesses. They are looking for someone to join their Maidstone team and they are keen to attract an experienced bookkeeper who has worked in an accountancy firm before and who is looking for a part-time opportunity with a friendly firm.

They are looking for someone with strong IT skills and who has previously used Sage, Excel, Xero, and QuickBooks. It is key that you possess strong communication skills and are confident in advising and communicating effectively with a wide variety of clients. If you are AAT qualified this would be beneficial but not essential but you do need to have a driving license and access to your own vehicle.

You will be experienced in and responsible for:

– Providing bookkeeping duties including VAT returns, bank reconciliations, monthly management reports, and the possibility of visiting clients regarding bookkeeping matters
– Preparing working papers in Excel to assist with accounts
– General office duties
– Covering basic payroll when required (training will be provided)
