Payroll Assistant (Ref: J9338) Permanent

Goldhawk Associates are currently looking for a Payroll Assistant to join a large independent firm of accountants in West Kent. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and busy Payroll Bureau team. This is a very busy department within the firm, and they are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced role and you can successful provide flexible payroll solutions to a large variety of clients.

Responsibilities:
Working in a team to ensure the smooth running of the payroll function
Processing and Checking Payrolls
Supporting with a portfolio of clients proving support and advice
Set up new PAYE schemes
Dealing with payroll queries
Auto Enrolment processing
Upload auto enrolment information to a range of pension providers
Processing new client onboarding
Training and development of junior members of staff
Dealing directly with HM Revenue and Customs

You will have a proven track record of having worked in a similar environment and it would be advantageous if you are CIPP qualified, if not you will be supported in this. This is a demanding role but in turn the rewards will be high, and you will be supported by a rounded management team.
