Role Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Project Manager to join an extremely forward-thinking organisation, who have doubled in size in the past 2 years. They have huge growth plans over the next couple of years, which has led to the creation of this brand-new position of M&A Project Manager.

As the M&A Project Manager, you will be responsible for the management of operational and functional work streams, focusing on commercial, operational and engagement planning during and at post purchase stages of the acquisition cycle. You will be a natural when it comes to relationship building across internal and acquired functions, as well as 3rd party support. On an on-going basis, you will be responsible for the analysis of business models and the development of target operating models.

You will also be spearheading the coordination and communication of due diligence and transaction activities with an understanding of integration challenges and opportunities. Additionally, you will support multiple integration work streams tracking performance and identifying risks.
Furthermore, you will make valuable contributions to the development of key documents for a transaction e.g. Transitional Service Schedules, synergy cases, reports or papers addressing certain strategic issues.

Key Skills

• Proven experience within the Mergers and Acquisitions space, managing a variety of projects simultaneously
• Strong commercial acumen with a natural ability to build strong, purposeful working relationships
• A natural and agile approach to tasks and associated challenges, equally comfortable with working in ambiguous and fast-paced environments
• Comfortable working with large amounts of data and a good head for finance/numbers
