Senior Payroll Administrator – remote working (Ref: J10134) Permanent

My client based in Kent are looking to recruit a Senior Payroll Administrator to join a busy and thriving organisation. This is an exciting role which offers variety and the ability to develop current skill sets.
Key Responsibilities
·Take full ownership and responsibility for delivering payroll on a timely basis, both weekly and monthly.
·Processing New Starters, Leavers, Timesheets, Statutory Payments, Termination Payments, Costing. Running reports, analysing and sanity checking.
·Entering allowances and understanding their significance to HMRC legislation.
·Keeping up to date with changing legislation, such as national minimum wage rates, redundancy calculations, tax rules etc. to ensure payroll remains internally and externally compliant.
·Ensure third party suppliers are serviced efficiently to deadlines.
·Ideally studying towards your CIPP qualification.
·Learning on the job the variations between the payrolls
The ideal person will be used to working towards tight deadlines while working under time pressures within a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work as part of a team and individually. Previous experience of a variety of payroll systems is required and someone who has the ability to use excel to manipulate data.
