Semi Senior/AAT Qualified Accountant (Ref: J10677) Permanent

I am supporting a well-established reputable Tunbridge Wells based Firm of Accountants who are looking to appoint an experienced AAT Qualified Practice Accountant to their team. This role would ideally suit an AAT qualified Accountant or someone coming to the latter stages of the AAT, or someone who is qualified by experience. This is a great opportunity to join an experienced team where you will be responsible for providing clients services by preparing accounts, corporate tax computations, and some payroll services. They have had a very successful few years and the firm has grown so this is an exciting time to join and work within a busy and professional environment.

Your role will involve:

Preparing of statutory accounts
Working to support a varied portfolio of Ltd Companies, sole traders, and partnership accounts
Preparing corporation tax returns
Preparation of personal tax returns for business owners
VAT
Payroll

You may be required to do some basic payroll from some clients
Work to support the firm and team
Have a hands on approach
Requires good communication skills

It would be helpful if you have experience in using various software, IRIS, Sage, Xero, Quickbooks

The Firm specialises in advisory/planning and consultancy solutions and services and has a strong established Partnership, several of whom are Top 4 trained. They have a professional and consultative approach and they are looking for experienced accounts staff to join the team. They are a medium size practice and their clients are varied.

They offer 9-5: 4 days office-based/1 day home-based working patterns, 25 day AL plus bank holidays, a generous pension scheme, and parking on site. Further study support can be provided.
